1. As this website gets going we will be adding anyone we see that appears to be doing relevant investigative journalism, community journalism, sei 700 auditing.  ngo document auditing, etc.  

2. We will be listing them with codes like IJ,, CJ, 700-A  NGO-A etc. . 

3. We'd I'd like to, however, also have a "Registered Auditor" category which basically means you've established a higher threshold for accountability to the public, and we the registrar for that. 

4. .At some point in the future the only auditors listed may be required to be registered but that's a future concern. 

5. As of now, no fees to register or be listed. With sufficient donations or other revenue the goal would be to keep it that way.  Reserve right to change that at anytime and right to refuse to list anyone or remove them. 

1. X Account - You MUST have an X account. You don't have to use it but you need to be findable that way to promote X, because without it and Grok this would never have transpired.  Welcome to have and promote other social media as well obviously, but need to be visible/reachable via X as well. (even if only with pointer to your website(s) or other social media accounts).  Free account is fine. need not blue check.  The ability to share information quickly and publicly on X to the broadest audience that may be most receptive to this type of work also the reason for this.

2. "Website" / Primary URL for single point find-ability with more and more organized information than can be conveyed in X profile - You MUST have a "website" (actual website, published google doc, other)  that identifies you by name, some method of contact on it and a photo  (email, twitter, or phone), and a short summary of what you are working on , your approach, your work or pointers to your work, etc.

   1. 1. A google doc can be created and published in a minute. Can be done with just a gmail address and understadning of google Drive and google doc creation. 

      2.  A Google Site is more advanced and can be done in 5 minutes for basic needs. Can be done with just a gmail address. 

3. Fact vs Opinion - Your website and investigation material needs to clearly state what is fact and what is opinion. You are responsible for that not us, given we aren't related but the purpose is to bring attention to people who understand how to separate those.  

4. Internet footprint - You have to have an additional footprint on the internet that is find-able via search engines  (linked in, facebook, work profile, website) 

5. Credit Score - Your credit score must be 700 or above. You will provide screen shot of a report with your name and score but no other details. Sound odd?  As a 25+ year landlord, there is no better initial indicator of someone's sincerity than their credit score.  If you have proper support for lower and want to be considered, submit details and will consider.  

We hope to generate enough money from donations to  cover time and expenses and possibly make a part time or full time living  with this and many other websites and publishing activities. That is secondary right now but as this grows it will become relevant. 

As of now, we are adding listings for free and hope to keep it that way.  E

We will add donation links to this website and/or share those already setup on our  Monterey County Examiner website. 

 If you do collect donations or generate revenue, please consider voluntarily sharing some with us.  2%, 5% 10%,  ad-hoc, whatever you feel makes sense. I suggest square and strip links for donation collection, but others may work too. . I encourage you to do the same OR do it for volunteer work as you see fit. 

As with all things -  this commercial model  is subject to change as things move forward. Hopefully everyone can remain content but we'll just see how it goes.
